    We are a family-owned and operated independent insurance agency located at 6 Executive Dr.(beautiful office and accessible location) Farmington, CT. Established in 1936, our specialty is working with individuals and businesses of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds who expect, appreciate and deserve excellent personal customer service. Seeking full-time, personal lines (CSR) account manager with a positive attitude and proactive work ethic. Strong knowledge of all personal lines insurance coverages (homeowners, automobile, umbrella, etc..) Some commercial lines knowledge is a plus. Consideration can be made for [1] office/remote flexibility throughout the Monday-Friday workweek after several months on the job.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Exhibit superior customer service traits, accommodate client requests, addressing all servicing needs. Communicate with carriers/underwriting/producers regarding renewals and new business. Enter policy data into our Agency Management System (AMS360) . Process endorsements/ Process and issue binders/ Rating experience using P/L rating system or comparable. Develop proficiency in real time technology, quoting in multiple carrier websites during the remarketing process or when adding additional lines of coverage. Review new business/renewals/endorsements accuracy.

    Skills & Requirements: Personal Lines account manager/CSR with demonstrated success in this or a similar role. Must possess a solid understanding of and the ability to clearly articulate insurance industry standards, policies, and procedures. Exceptional interpersonal relations with others. Team player and positive thinker.

    Detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills

    Goal oriented & self-starter/initiator a must.

    Qualifications: Connecticut Property & Casualty license (required) Minimum 3 years personal lines (some commercial insurance experience considered a plus). Experience with Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of Agency Management System (AMS360) or comparable.
