    Blue Bell (Montgomery County), PA- mid-sized, independent insurance agency; primarily commercial lines, 17 + employees, +$20 M book of commercial business. Seeking individual capable of handling a commercial lines book of business. There is an employment experience requirement of at least 3-5 years working as a commercial customer service rep in an independent insurance agency. This individual has to be a team player, enthusiastic in all interactions, have a cheerful disposition and be a self-starter.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develops complete client information and applications for new and renewal business under the direction of the Producer. Identifies and requests renewal exposures.
    • Guides clients through the renewal process, in conjunction with the Producer and submits requests to carriers according to the renewal process timetable, follows up with carrier underwriters and completes the appropriate renewal per Agency procedures. Reviews experience modifiers.
    • Processes change requests/endorsements, certificates, account summaries, proposals, policies, lost policy releases, audit, and account balance status when requested. Ensures that these items are given to client in a timely manner. Initiates appropriate correspondence with carriers and clients.
    • Responds to requests from clients and insurance companies.
    • Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures. Maintains good internal file audit results.
    • Assists in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Recognizes and satisfies carrier goals and objectives in order to enhance business relationships.

    Candidate Attributes:

    • You need to be well organized to handle the workflow, billing, processing of new and renewal business, and diaries/follow ups for outstanding paperwork, additional information, etc.
    • Individual needs to possess good communication skills - as this individual will be speaking and communicating with clients and company underwriters.
    • Good writing skills - to send clear and intelligent correspondence, emails, etc. to clients and company underwriters.
    • Experience on Vertafore/AMS 360 is very important.
    • Current/Active Property and Casualty License - CE up to date
