Company Summary:
We are a fast-growing independent Insurance Agency, looking to add to our staff an AMS360 experienced, NYS Property & Casualty Broker licensed Commercial Lines Account Executive. We have a full time and a part-time position open.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, negotiate and shop new and renewal lines of insurance. Design insurance and risk management plans for clients as needed per their specific needs and exposures.
- Prompt response to inquiries, problem solving, and follow up to ensure client satisfaction and timely resolution.
- Process or oversee policy changes/endorsements, binders, certificates of insurance, account summaries, proposals, policies, lost policy releases, audits, and account balance status as needed.
Qualifications:
- Property & Casualty license a MUST
- Previous experience in commercial property and casualty insurance with 1-3 years of experience of independently managing a book of business.
- Tech savvy and knowledge of AMS360/Vertafore agency management software required; spreadsheet software,
- Strong negotiation skills and reliable team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and multitask.
