At FNIC, seamless client service and quality transactions showcases our quality of work, and that is what our Accountant or Sr. Accountant will be responsible for. The Accountant or Sr. Accountant will perform a range of financial activities, ensuring accurate reporting and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
What's the work like?
You will...
- Managing and reconciling complex accounts and transactions.
- Preparing financial reports, statements, and analyses.
- Participating in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assisting in the implementation and improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Assisting in the preparation of payroll.
- Assisting in audits and compliance activities.
- Collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights and support for decision-making.
- Assisting in the training and development of junior accounting staff.
- Providing support to the Controller and Assistant Controller as required.

Requirements
What do I need to know?
You have to have…
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Prior Applied Epic Systems experience, preferred
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:
- Candidates located in Omaha, NE and/or Loveland, CO will be given preference
- Seniority level will be determined by several factors including but not limited too work experience, education, licenses & certifications, etc.
- Salary Range: $50,000 - $86,000
- Pay is determined by several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, licenses & certifications, labor market data, etc.
- Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
