Our network expanded as we forged new, meaningful relationships with industry influencers who are recognizable powerbrokers changing the face of insurance as agents, owners, and business leaders. NetVU’s fulltime staff welcomed new talents into our team focusing its efforts on you – Kris Serbus and Ellen Mitchell who will lead our events function, including Accelerate, moving forward; and Mackenzie Winn, whose focus on and attention to our volunteers will strengthen our relationship with the individuals who power our success. These new names and faces join an already strong team with experience and passion that is unmatched.
Knowledge Empowerment:
In a commitment to continuous learning, we rolled out our inaugural new hire training series, leadership development program, and have in the works additional new training opportunities that will provide your staff and future leaders with a strong foundation in your agency and in our community.
Additionally, we continue to lean into virtual education, which garners positive responses while providing valuable insights to both seasoned professionals and those new to our industry.
Unprecedented Events:
Our events this year, including arguably one of the best Accelerate conferences in recent memory, and our second Spark gathering, have set new standards for excellence. The vibrant energy and engagement witnessed at these occasions are a testament to the strength of our community.
Technological Advancements:
The digital face of NetVU underwent a refreshing transformation to netvu.org, facelift to net NCOM (NetVU’s online community) and a more powerful cross-platform search engine. These enhancements empower our members to navigate our resources seamlessly.

Our robust relationship with Vertafore remains a cornerstone of our success, aligning us more closely with the future direction of the industry.
