It was a moment of inspiration. Members of the Fall Conference Task Force were trying to come up with a name for the new NetVU event. It needed to capture the essence of a NetVU gathering ― the satisfaction of creating meaningful peer relationships combined with the energy that an optimized Vertafore solution delivers to an agency. Suddenly, Amanda Adams asked the age-old question, "What if?"
In this case, what if this Fall conference was designed in such a way that it would spark conversations that lead to more internal focus that drives success. That word spark immediately jumped off the screen. And that, as they say, was that.
So … if this is your first time learning about Spark, Nov. 13-15 at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati, let me give you the details.
- Smaller and intentionally focused attendee list – we’re wanting to engage 300 leaders who have influence in their organization and the industry
- No lectures. Instead, you and your peers will lead the conversations to be facilitated by a subject matter expert.
- Longer sessions to stimulate more discussion.
- You chose the topics that we’ll discuss. When agency leaders were asked in a member survey about their greatest concerns for today and the future, growing their businesses, creating greater efficiencies in operating their businesses, and attracting, nurturing, and keeping hold of talent were at the top of the list across the board. GROWTH, EFFICIENCIES, TALENT.
- If you’re younger in your career, but have influence on decisions being made in your organization and aspire to be a NetVU community influencer, we have space for you too. We are looking for up to 30 aspiring leaders who will have a HUGE role to play at Spark.
As I’ve participated in the planning meetings for Spark, my energy and excitement mirrors that of the Fall Conference Task Force members who were specially recruited to make Spark a meaningful and different kind of conference.
By its very nature, Spark is something new. Spark is focused energy. Spark is an ignition point that can lead to something far more intense and widespread. Spark is about a brief moment in time that can create lasting change.
Spark has been designed specifically to create an environment for rapid change in thought in action, providing a forum in which NetVU influencers will learn from peers who are shaking things up to positively and forever impact growth, efficiency and talent in this industry.
