Accelerate 2025 has come and gone, but not without leaving behind a wave of energy, inspiration, and momentum that will carry us through the year ahead.
While this was my 14th NetVU conference, it was my first as a member of the NetVU staff, and I can now say with full confidence: the magic doesn’t just happen. I’ve been blown away by the dedication, creativity, and collaboration behind the scenes. Our team and countless volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure our members had the experience they’ve come to expect, and then some.
By the Numbers:
- ✅ 167 education sessions delivered across diverse roles and experience levels
- 🚀 9 inaugural Ignite Roundtables, where members shared challenges, solutions, and sparked ideas we’ll continue discussing on NCOM, in virtual follow-ups, at Spark, and at next year’s Accelerate
· 💜 $44,853 donated for Day of Caring to build more than 8,000 art kits for kids in Charlotte
· 🏢 Sold-out Exhibit Hall, buzzing with innovation, connections, and collaboration
- 🙌 Nearly 2,000 attendees in Charlotte, including members, exhibitors, Vertafore team members, and NetVU staff
- 🤖 Wildly successful AI track drew standing-room-only crowds and sparked big ideas about the future of insurance and technology
- 🧡 272 incredible volunteers supported Accelerate, serving on education committees, speaking, guiding attendees to sessions, answering questions in the NetVU Neighborhood, mentoring first-time attendees, and helping steer the event through leadership roles.
- 📢 Powerful main stage updates from NetVU and Vertafore leadership, spotlighting what’s ahead in innovation, partnership, and advocacy
- 🎤 A standout performance by Big & Rich that had everyone on their feet
- 🏅 An unforgettable session with Michael Phelps, who reminded us what it means to persevere and lead with purpose
What Made This Year Stand Out:
- The launch of Ignite Roundtables brought fresh energy to role-based peer sharing and learning. We’re excited to nurture those conversations throughout the year.
- The sense of community was stronger than ever. From first-time attendees to seasoned NetVU volunteers, the collaboration was real and meaningful.
- We heard consistent feedback that the education was not only high-quality, but immediately applicable.
As we reflect on an incredible few days, I’m filled with pride not only in what we accomplished, but in where we’re headed. The connections made, knowledge shared, and energy sparked at Accelerate 2025 are just the beginning.
