At NetVU, our people are what make the mission meaningful—and few embody that spirit more fully than Jessica Jeffress. With a passion for education, a sharp strategic mindset, and a genuine care for our members, Jessica has quickly become a driving force behind NetVU’s evolving learning initiatives.
Getting to Know Jessica
Jessica calls Farmington, Kentucky home and has been with NetVU for just over one year—though it feels like she’s been part of the team far longer. Before joining staff, Jessica was already deeply connected to NetVU as a volunteer, which made stepping into her role especially rewarding.
> “I loved being a volunteer for NetVU, and getting to be on this side of it has been a blast and very rewarding!”
Outside of work, Jessica keeps busy reading, traveling, and cheering on her kids at their many sports events. Her household also includes a fish named Frankie, owned proudly by her son, Nolan. An early bird by nature, Jessica starts her days with Dunkin’ Decaf and brings that steady, focused energy to everything she does.
Making an Impact at NetVU
When asked about her proudest moment at work this year, Jessica points to the incredible efforts of NetVU’s Education Committees.
> “The members of those committees have worked so hard to develop Accelerate education quickly and to work toward even better year-round education for our members.”
She’s especially excited about what’s ahead—Accelerate, the continued growth of NetVU+, and expanding year-round education offerings that deliver real value to member agencies.
One of Jessica’s favorite NetVU memories captures the heart of her commitment:
> “The feeling of delirium, excitement, and adrenaline rush of Accelerate… Seeing what all went into it behind the scenes was crazy. There’s no tired like putting on a conference tired! But being face-to-face with our fully remote team made it all worth it.”
