Born in San Francisco and raised in Roanoke, Virginia, Ellen brings a blend of West Coast calm and East Coast grit to everything she does. What does she love most about working at NetVU? Simply put: the people. She credits the team’s diverse personalities and collaborative spirit as the secret sauce behind our success—and it’s clear her teammates feel the same way about her.
Colleagues describe Ellen as energetic, thoughtful, and a true team player. She’s known for leading with genuine care, going above and beyond, and always being willing to roll up her sleeves to get things done. Oh—and she’s widely recognized for having the best laugh on the NetVU team.
Holiday Cheer, Ellen-Style
When it comes to the holidays, Ellen is Team Real Tree all day. One of her favorite traditions is cutting down her own Christmas tree, followed closely by indulging in all the holiday treats—especially fudge, Christmas cookies, and holiday Chex mix.
Her holiday must-watch movie is Christmas Vacation, and her go-to festive song is NSYNC’s “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.” One of her most memorable gifts? A light blue beach cruiser bike with a basket for her dog—proof that Christmas magic doesn’t fade with age.
Dream holiday getaway? Either soaking up the sun in the Caribbean or enjoying New York with family.
Life Outside NetVU
Ellen shares her home with Daisy, her nearly 16-year-old pug/wiener mix who clearly runs the show. Outside of work, Ellen enjoys throwing pottery, gardening, reading, and hiking—activities that balance creativity and calm.
She’s currently reading The Midnight Library by Matt Haig and can often be found watching King of Queens and Law & Order. As a self-proclaimed night owl, Ellen fuels her evenings with espresso—specifically cappuccinos.
Fun fact? Ellen once lived in Prague, Czech Republic—something many are surprised to learn.
